It is reported that some heated jackets & vests of certain brand were asked to recall by The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission because electrical connections in the warming components in the jackets and vests can overheat, posing a burn hazard to consumers. The good news is no injures have been reported.
Mig Clothing has been producing heated jackets and vests. The recall has nothing to do with Mig Clothing Limited. We totally understand the importance of customers’ safety. We have been working together with our clients to find a best solution. We have made heated jackets, heated vests, heated trousers, heated socks and heated belts, etc. We control heat power of our heated clothing to avoid overheat. We design our jackets at 50 Watts and vests at 45 Watts. Customers will no feel cooked at this point.
